The First Hong Kong Film Music Fiesta –
Rhythm of Martial Arts Music Concert
When it comes to Hong Kong films, Hong Kong martial arts and action films will pop up in mind immediately. Over the years, Hong Kong has produced numerous iconic kung fu and action film characters that shaped Hong Kong popular culture and the success is anchored on both visuals and sounds – film music.
On 11 March this year, the Hong Kong Film Composers’ Association Limited (HKFCA) will proudly present the first Hong Kong Film Music Fiesta – Rhythm of Martial Arts Music Concert during FILMART. Leading by Music Director Dr. Mui Kwong Chiu, selected film music pieces wrote by six composers – Richard Yuan, Peter Kam, Punk Chan, Leon Ko, Julian Chan and Lam Kwan-fai – will be performed. You can also enjoy classic Hong Kong film songs performed by singers Deep Ng and Edmond Tong.
